The Singapore Food Agency (SFA) will be suspending the licence of Wan Hao Delicacies, the coffeeshop/eating house at Blk 22 Sin Ming Road, #01-244 Singapore 570022.
The period of suspension is one day on 29/11/2024.
2 The licensee has accumulated 12 demerit points within a 12-month period and was fined a total of S$1,200 for the following offences:
(1) Fail to maintain sanitary fittings, etc, in good working condition and repair – 4 demerit points.
(2) Fail to maintain sanitary fittings, etc, in good working condition and repair – 4 demerit points.
(3) Fail to keep toilet clean and in good repair – 4 demerit points.
3 Based on track records, a coffeeshop/eating house which accumulates 12 or more demerit points during a 12 month period may have his licence suspended for a period of either one day, two days or three days.
4 SFA takes a serious view of these offences and would like to remind food business operators to observe good food and personal hygiene practices at all times. This includes engaging only registered food handlers and ensuring upkeep and maintenance of licensed premises (including toilets within).
SFA will not hesitate to take firm action against anyone found to be in violation of the Environmental Public Health Act.
