Bye Bakerzin After 22 Years In Singapore~

After 22 long good years in Singapore, a local popular restaurant chain – Bakerzin had ceased all operations of their outlets across the island as of 9 October 2020, without any reason or explanation from its management.

A check on their official Facebook page and saw their last updated on 30 September 2020, and their official website is no longer accessible.

Based on various media source, Bakerzin was started in 1998 by Chef Daniel Tay, first named Baker’s Inn before it was renamed to the familiar Bakerzin in 2004.

At Bakerzin’s peak, the restaurant chain was reported to have an annual turnover of approximately S$14 million.

The said company on 5 October 2020 issued notice of a creditors’ meeting for the their winding up, which will be held via a video conferencing on 16 October 2020, at 2pm.
