Downgrading of Two Food Caterers Due to Food Poisoning Incidents

24 persons were reported having gastroenteritis symptoms after consuming food provided by “Chilli Api Catering” located at 3015 Bedok North Street 5, #06-27/15, Shimei East Kitchen, Singapore 486350 on 18 December 2018.

Following investigations, the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) has adjusted the food caterer’s food hygiene grade to “C” with effect from 18 June 2019, to be reviewed in 12 months, and will keep the premises under surveillance meanwhile.

Separately, another 21 persons were reported having gastroenteritis symptoms after consuming food provided by “Pro*3 Institutional Catering” located at 41 Hillcrest Road, Singapore 288916 on 9 March 2019.

Following investigations, the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) has adjusted the canteen’s food hygiene grade to “C” with effect from 17 June 2019, to be reviewed in 12 months, and will keep the premises under surveillance meanwhile.
