Once again we are back to Boon Lay Place Market and Food Village to find some tasty and affordable good cuisines!

We found this small stall selling authentic Hokkien ( Fujian province in China ) Penang Prawn Noodle (福建虾面) !!

Penang Hokkien Prawn Noodle are famous for their Penang Prawn Noodles, and uses both thick and thin bee hoonrice vermicelli and also typical “yellow” noodles too! ( You can mix them both! )

Their thick flavory broth uses heads and shells of prawns, various seafoods, pork bone, lots of pepper.. and simmering for hours for the unique taste!

This stall uses fresh ingredients and generous in their serving portion!

The noodles are mixed in sweet dark sauce with a dash of pork oil for the smooth texture, and also bits of fried onions for the added flavor!

Generous slices of lean meat, fish cake and large prawns are added on top of the noodle to complete this wonderful dish!

Look at their thick “stew-like” prawn soup.. really tempting~!!

Don’t forget to try to EXTRA HOT chilli paste too!
