Coming into its 20th years of operations, Grandma Ong Mee Hoon Kueh – 面粉粿 is one of the oldest and well-known noodle shop in West Malaysia area..

Other than their ever-popular Mee Hoon Kueh – 面粉粿 , there are also other healthy and delicious types of noodles such as tomato, beetroot (甜菜根) and spinach etc.

Add some fresh Mani Cai / Katuk (马尼菜), generous scoop of spicy sambal sauce, dash of fried onion, accompanied with minced meat and marinated mushrooms, into all Grandma Ong Mee Hoon Kueh and noodles, and it will distinctly enhance the savory flavor further more~!

Once you are around Taman Sutera Utama area, which is a stone-throw from the famous Sutera Mall, you can easily locate this prominent signboard (with the adorable smiling face) along the stretch of shophouses..

Inside the shop, you will not miss the wall of interesting displays explaining the origin, artistic graffiti showcasing their popular dishes, and also various news articles covering them too!

All prices are clearly-displayed on their food menu, featuring lots of varieties and choices!

For those deal-seekers, there are various affordable set meals to choose from.. starting from just RM12.90 for a bowl classic noodle, a beverage and also a side snack to complete the meal!

We tried several dishes, such as the minced meat Mee Hoon Kueh (dry and soup based) with braised mushrooms. curry chicken ban mian (板麵) etc..

Don’t forget to add some spicy chilli padi and chilli paste too! It’s a MUST!!

The side snacks taste decent and really compliments the noodle dishes!

They even have a special reminiscing corner which features some of our delightful childhood tidbits for sale at very affordable prices!
