There is a popular food stall at Bukit Panjang Hawker Centre along Bukit Panjang Ring Road that is attracting long queues everyday..
Chye Lye Ah Ma Mee Sua – 再来阿嬤麵線 sells mainly Mee Sua – 麵線 (Wheat Vermicelli) and other noodles like Tau Chiam – 豆签 (Soya Noodle), Sheng Mian – 生麵 (Crispy Noodle) and Bee Hoon – 米粉 (Rice Vermicelli) in their mouth-watering flavory soup!
Prices are prominently displayed right in front of their stall.. even though the price is slightly higher for a hawker stall, but the portion is generous and comes with variety of ingredients!
The stall was widely covered by various major news media & agency, and was awarded too!
The stall owner – Mr Ong Chye Lye received award and certification from local celebrity and Singapore Minister too!
We ordered their popular traditional Ah Ma Mee Sua for only S$4.00 and was delighted to be served a large bowl of hot soupy Mee Sua!
For a start, the bowl of soup Mee Sua contains plenty of goodies such as large-size minced-seasoned meatballs, sliced pork, fat pieces of pork liver, huge stewed mushrooms, and a nicely-poached egg!
It was scattered with freshly-sliced spring onion and coriander, bits of fried diced ginger, and a sparingly dash of Chinese wine to give the flavory soup an enhanced relishing fragrance!
