Heng Huat Boon Lay Bonless Duck Noodles – 興發文礼起骨鸭面 is located at unit #01-140 and always managed to pull in long queues of customers!
The starting price for their Dry or Soup Boneless Duck Noodle range from S$3.50~S$4.50, which is quite reasonable for the considerably large serving portion!
All their duck meat have their bones removed and stack up neatly at the stall front, including other duck intestines and braised eggs too..
We must admit, it looks pretty appetizing~!!
For diners who love spiciness, the stall prepares a basket of freshly-cut chilli padi (small spicy chilli), and also chilli paste for diners to take freely!
The typical portion of dry boneless duck noodle is really generous!
One of the important ingredient that compliments the duck noodle is of course, lots of cooked bean-sprouts (豆芽) at the top!
Add a small scoop of chilli paste, stir and blend it well with the flavory braised duck sauce to step up the taste even higher!
Oh ya, you can request them to add more braised duck sauce if you prefer stronger flavor!
The generous slice of duck meat is moist and chewy, and easy to bite into.. especially when all the bones are removed~!
Try the kwek tiao (粿條) with yellow noodle mix, always a great choice for duck noodle! Delicious!
The complimentary duck soup emits a sweet fragrance with a hint of herbal ingredient within.. it is not too oily and pretty tasty!
