Ltd. (located at 171 Kampong Ampat, #06-12, KA Foodlink, Singapore 368330)<\/em><\/strong>, <strong><em>with effect from 26 October 2021 until further notice. <\/em><\/strong><br><br><strong><em>SFA<\/em><\/strong> have also issued a direction to<em><strong> recall food products<\/strong><\/em> that have been <strong><em>distributed to Proofer\u2019s 16 retail outlets in Singapore<\/em><\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"936\" height=\"690\" src=\"https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/image-9.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2559\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/image-9.png 936w, https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/image-9-300x221.png 300w, https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/image-9-768x566.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 936px) 100vw, 936px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>2 On <strong><em>26 October 2021<\/em><\/strong>, during an inspection of the said premises, <strong><em>massive pest (live cockroaches, rodent activity and dead rodent) infestation was observed in the food preparation areas and also in both the food delivery trucks. <\/em><\/strong><br><br>In addition, several lapses relating to poor maintenance of the premises were observed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"388\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/image-292.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-787\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/image-292.png 388w, https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/image-292-300x244.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 388px) 100vw, 388px\" \/><figcaption><strong>SFA<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>3 In the interest of public health, SFA directed the licensee to rectify the lapses and take necessary measures to improve the food safety practices and the cleanliness of its premises. <br><br>As a precautionary measure, <em><strong>SFA has also directed the company to recall the various food products at Proofer\u2019s retail outlets.<\/strong><\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4 Food safety is a joint responsibility as food can be contaminated anywhere along the food chain. <br><br>While SFA continues to be vigilant and works to ensure that regulatory measures are in place and properly enforced, the industry and consumers must also play their part. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5 All food operators should ensure that their premises are clean and well-maintained, and staff are adequately trained on proper food safety management. <br><br>SFA will take enforcement action against food operators who do not adhere to regulations or comply with food safety requirements.
