The Singapore Food Agency (SFA)<\/em><\/strong> will be suspending the licence<\/em><\/strong> of Teck Ee Economic Mixed Vegetable Rice & Porridge, the food stall at 511 Bishan Street 13, #01-522, Singapore 570511<\/em><\/strong>, under the Points Demerit System.

The period of suspension is two week<\/em><\/strong>s from 19\/10\/2021 to 01\/11\/2021<\/em><\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The licensee has accumulated 12 demerit points over a 12-month period<\/em><\/strong> and was fined a total of S$800<\/em><\/strong> for the following offences:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0\u00a03\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Based on track records, a licensee who accumulates 12 or more demerit points during a 12-month period may have his licence suspended for a period of either two or four weeks, or cancelled.\u00a0

All food handlers working in the suspended premises would also be required to re-attend and pass the Food Safety Course Level 1, before they can resume work as food handlers.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 SFA takes a serious view of these offences and would like to remind food operators to observe good food and personal hygiene practices at all times, and to engage only registered food handlers.

SFA will not hesitate to take firm action against anyone found to be in violation of the Environmental Public Health Act.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
