{"id":2532,"date":"2021-10-06T07:11:10","date_gmt":"2021-10-05T23:11:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/?p=2532"},"modified":"2021-10-09T08:21:49","modified_gmt":"2021-10-09T00:21:49","slug":"suspension-of-licence-of-thousand-taste-shan-dong-da-bao-porridge-at-8-tampines-central-1-01-10-eastlink-mall-sfa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/index.php\/2021\/10\/06\/suspension-of-licence-of-thousand-taste-shan-dong-da-bao-porridge-at-8-tampines-central-1-01-10-eastlink-mall-sfa\/","title":{"rendered":"Suspension of Licence of Thousand Taste Shan Dong Da Bao Porridge at 8 Tampines Central 1, #01-10, Eastlink Mall (SFA)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The <strong><em>Singapore Food Agency (SFA)<\/em><\/strong> will be suspending the licence of <strong><em>Thousand Taste Shan Dong Da Bao Porridge<\/em><\/strong>, the food stall at<strong><em> 8 Tampines Central 1, #01-10, Eastlink Mall, Singapore 529543<\/em><\/strong>, under the Points Demerit System. <br><br>The period of suspension is<strong><em> two weeks from 05\/10\/2021 to 18\/10\/2021<\/em><\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<br>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"928\" height=\"733\" src=\"https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/image-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2533\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/image-2.png 928w, https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/image-2-300x237.png 300w, https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/image-2-768x607.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 928px) 100vw, 928px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<br>\n\n\n\n<p>2\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The licensee has accumulated <strong><em>12 demerit points over a 12-month period<\/em><\/strong> and was <strong><em>fined a total of S$800<\/em><\/strong> for the following offences: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<br><center><table class=\"wp-block-table is-style-stripes\"><tbody><tr><td><strong>No.<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Offence<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Demerit points<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>(1)<\/td><td>Failure to register assistant<\/td><td><center>6<\/center><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>(2)<\/td><td>Failure to keep licensed premises free ofcockroach infestation<\/td><td><center>6<\/center><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/center><br>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a03\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Based on track records, a licensee who accumulates 12 or more demerit points during a 12-month period may have his licence suspended for a period of either two or four weeks, or cancelled.\u00a0<br><br>All food handlers working in the suspended premises would also be required to re-attend and pass the Food Safety Course Level 1, before they can resume work as food handlers.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"388\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/image-292.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-787\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/image-292.png 388w, https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/image-292-300x244.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 388px) 100vw, 388px\" \/><figcaption><strong>SFA<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>4\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 SFA takes a serious view of these offences and would like to remind food operators to observe good food and personal hygiene practices at all times, and to engage only registered food handlers. <br><br>SFA will not hesitate to take firm action against anyone found to be in violation of the Environmental Public Health Act.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 In the interest of maintaining a high standard of food hygiene at all eating establishments, we would also like to advise members of the public who come across poor hygiene practices in food establishments not to patronise such outlets and provide feedback via the online feedback form (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sfa.gov.sg\/feedback\">https:\/\/www.sfa.gov.sg\/feedback<\/a>) or to call our SFA Contact Centre at 68052871 with details for our follow-up investigations. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Singapore Food Agency (SFA) will be suspending the licence of Thousand Taste Shan Dong Da Bao Porridge, the food stall at 8 Tampines Central 1, #01-10, Eastlink Mall, Singapore 529543, under the Points Demerit System.
