{"id":2311,"date":"2021-06-02T07:17:29","date_gmt":"2021-06-01T23:17:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/?p=2311"},"modified":"2021-06-04T08:04:25","modified_gmt":"2021-06-04T00:04:25","slug":"suspension-of-licence-of-ming-sui-seafood-at-61-kaki-bukit-avenue-1-01-10-shun-li-industrial-park-sfa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/index.php\/2021\/06\/02\/suspension-of-licence-of-ming-sui-seafood-at-61-kaki-bukit-avenue-1-01-10-shun-li-industrial-park-sfa\/","title":{"rendered":"Suspension of Licence of Ming Sui Seafood at \u200b61 Kaki Bukit Avenue 1 #01-10 Shun Li Industrial Park (SFA)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The <strong><em>Singapore Food Agency (SFA)<\/em><\/strong> will be suspending the licence of <strong><em>Ming Sui Seafood<\/em><\/strong>, the food stall at <strong><em>61 Kaki Bukit Avenue 1 #01-10 Shun Li Industrial Park, Singapore 417934<\/em><\/strong>, under the Points Demerit System. <br><br>The period of suspension is <strong><em>two weeks<\/em><\/strong> from <strong><em>01\/06\/2021 to 14\/06\/2021<\/em><\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"964\" height=\"697\" src=\"https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/image.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2312\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/image.png 964w, https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/image-300x217.png 300w, https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/image-768x555.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 964px) 100vw, 964px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>2&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The licensee has accumulated <strong><em>12 demerit points<\/em><\/strong> over a <strong><em>12-month period<\/em><\/strong> and was <strong><em>fined a total of $800<\/em><\/strong> for the following offences: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<br><center><table class=\"wp-block-table is-style-stripes\"><tbody><tr><td><strong>No.<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Offence<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Demerit points<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>(1)<\/td><td>Preparation of food in places where toxicmatter is placed<\/td><td><center>6<\/center><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>(2)<\/td><td>Failure to keep licensed premises free ofcockroach infestation<\/td><td><center>6<\/center><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/center><br>\n\n\n\n<p> &nbsp;3&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Based on track records, a licensee who accumulates 12 or more demerit points during a 12-month period may have their licence suspended for a period of either two or four weeks, or cancelled. <br><br>All food handlers working in the suspended premises would also be required to re-attend and pass the Food Safety Course Level 1, before they can resume work as food handlers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"388\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/image-292.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-787\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/image-292.png 388w, https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/image-292-300x244.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 388px) 100vw, 388px\" \/><figcaption><strong>SFA<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>4&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; SFA takes a serious view of these offences and would like to remind food operators to observe good food and personal hygiene practices at all times, and to engage only registered food handlers. <br><br>SFA will not hesitate to take firm action against anyone found to be in violation of the Environmental Public Health Act.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In the interest of maintaining a high standard of food hygiene at all eating establishments, we would also like to advise members of the public who come across poor hygiene practices in food establishments not to patronise such outlets and provide feedback via the online feedback form (<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sfa.gov.sg\/feedback\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/www.sfa.gov.sg\/feedback<\/a>) or to call our SFA Contact Centre at 68052871 with details for our follow-up investigations. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Singapore Food Agency (SFA) will be suspending the licence of Ming Sui Seafood, the food stall at 61 Kaki Bukit Avenue 1 #01-10 Shun Li Industrial Park, Singapore 417934, under the Points Demerit System.
