{"id":2041,"date":"2021-01-20T08:13:36","date_gmt":"2021-01-20T00:13:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/?p=2041"},"modified":"2021-01-20T08:13:42","modified_gmt":"2021-01-20T00:13:42","slug":"downgrading-of-two-chefs-eating-place-pte-ltd-at-116-commonwealth-crescent-due-to-food-poisoning-incident-sfa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/index.php\/2021\/01\/20\/downgrading-of-two-chefs-eating-place-pte-ltd-at-116-commonwealth-crescent-due-to-food-poisoning-incident-sfa\/","title":{"rendered":"Downgrading of Two Chefs Eating Place Pte Ltd at 116 Commonwealth Crescent, due to food poisoning incident (SFA)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>11 persons were reported to have gastroenteritis symptoms after consuming food prepared by food stall <strong><em>Two Chefs Eating Place Pte Ltd<\/em><\/strong> (located at <strong><em>116 Commonwealth Crescent, #01-129, Singapore 140116<\/em><\/strong>) from 16 January 2020 to 17 January 2020. <br><br>All of them have since recovered. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"539\" src=\"https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/image-8-1024x539.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2043\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/image-8-1024x539.png 1024w, https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/image-8-300x158.png 300w, https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/image-8-768x404.png 768w, https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/image-8.png 1062w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>A joint inspection by the <strong><em>Ministry of Health (MOH)<\/em><\/strong> and the <strong><em>Singapore Food Agency (SFA)<\/em><\/strong> was conducted at the food stall on 22 January 2020. <br><br>Several hygiene lapses were identified during the inspection and SFA had taken enforcement action against the licensee for these lapses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"388\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/image-292.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-787\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/image-292.png 388w, https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/image-292-300x244.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 388px) 100vw, 388px\" \/><figcaption><strong>SFA<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong><em>Singapore Food Agency (SFA)<\/em><\/strong> has adjusted the food stall\u2019s food hygiene grade from <strong><em>\u201cB\u201d\u00a0 to \u201cC\u201d with effect from 19 January 2021<\/em><\/strong>, to be reviewed in 12 months. <br><br>The premises will also be kept under surveillance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Food operators are reminded to adhere to good food hygiene and safety processes. <br><br>Good hygiene practices such as the washing of hands before handling food can greatly reduce the incidence of gastroenteritis when adopted by all key stakeholders, including the industry and public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The information provided on this website should not be used as basis for any legal proceedings.
