The Singapore Food Agency (SFA)<\/em><\/strong> will be suspending the licence of KJM Curry House & Restaurant, the food shop at 3 Sakra Road, Oasis @ Sakra, #01-04, Singapore 627878<\/em><\/strong>, under the Points Demerit System.

The period of suspension is two weeks from 11\/01\/2021 to 24\/01\/2021.<\/em><\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The licensee has accumulated 20 demerit points over a 12-month period<\/em><\/strong> and fined a total of $1400<\/em><\/strong> for the following offences: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0\u00a03\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Based on track records, a licensee who accumulates 12 or more demerit points during a 12-month period may have his licence suspended for a period of either two or four weeks, or cancelled.\u00a0All food handlers working in the suspended premises would also be required to attend and pass the Basic Food Hygiene Course again, before they can resume work as food handlers.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 All food hygiene officers working in suspended premises would be required to re-attend and pass the WSQ Conduct Food & Beverage Hygiene Audit course to ensure that they are properly trained and qualified.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 SFA takes a serious view of these offences and would like to remind food operators to observe good food and personal hygiene practices at all times, and to engage only registered food handlers. SFA will not hesitate to take firm action against anyone found to be in violation of the Environmental Public Health Act.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
