The Singapore Food Agency (SFA)<\/em><\/strong> will be suspending the licence of NKS Indian Muslim Food<\/em><\/strong>, the food shop (canteen without stalls), located at 18 Tuas Avenue 7, (Part Of) (Canteen 1), Singapore 639272<\/em><\/strong> under the Points Demerit System.

The period of suspension is two weeks from 23\/11\/2020 to 06\/12\/2020<\/em><\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2          The licensee has accumulated 14 demerit points over a 12-month<\/em><\/strong> period and fined a total of $1,000<\/em><\/strong> for the following offences:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3          Based on track records, a licensee who accumulates 12 or more demerit points during a 12-month period may have his licence suspended for a period of either two or four weeks, or cancelled. All food handlers working in the suspended premises would also be required to attend and pass the Basic Food Hygiene Course again, before they can resume work as food handlers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4          SFA takes a serious view of these offences and would like to remind food operators to observe good food and personal hygiene practices at all times, and to engage only registered food handlers. SFA will not hesitate to take firm action against anyone found to be in violation of the Environmental Public Health Act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
