Tables were spaced less than one metre apart and groups of more than 5 people were allowed to sit together and mingle. <br><br>Consumption of alcoholic beverages after 10.30pm was also observed. We also found that <strong><em>Whimsical Bar<\/em><\/strong> was operating a food establishment without a valid food shop licence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n<script async defer crossorigin=\"anonymous\" src=\"https:\/\/connect.facebook.net\/en_US\/sdk.js#xfbml=1&#038;version=v8.0&#038;appId=2342672449311172&#038;autoLogAppEvents=1\" nonce=\"rRICb1BX\"><\/script>\n\n<center><div class=\"fb-post\" data-href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/SGFoodAgency\/posts\/3329520787124425\" data-show-text=\"true\" data-width=\"\"><blockquote cite=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/SGFoodAgency\/posts\/3329520787124425\" class=\"fb-xfbml-parse-ignore\"><p>[CLOSURE OF FOOD ESTABLISHMENTS FOR FLOUTING SAFE MANAGEMENT MEASURES] \n\nOn 31 August 2020, SFA issued an order&#8230;<\/p>Posted by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/SGFoodAgency\/\">Singapore Food Agency (SFA)<\/a> on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/SGFoodAgency\/posts\/3329520787124425\">Monday, August 31, 2020<\/a><\/blockquote><\/div><\/center>\n\n\n\n<p>3 The adjacent unit, <strong><em>Create Kitchen (#01-14)<\/em><\/strong>, which has a licence to operate as a restaurant, violated similar SMMs. In addition to the order to close, both Whimsical Bar and Create Kitchen were fined $1,000 for the offences. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4 SFA also received feedback that <strong><em>S-Tripes Hotpot<\/em><\/strong>, which was licensed as a restaurant, was serving alcoholic beverages after 10.30pm. SFA officers inspected the premises and found that the operator had flouted SMMs on multiple occasions. <br><br>Staff were not wearing masks or not wearing them properly in spite of reminders. Sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages was observed after 10.30pm, with the beverages transferred into teapots and empty green tea bottles before being served to avoid detection. <strong><em>S-Tripes Hotpot<\/em><\/strong> was fined $2,000 for the offences. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"388\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/image-292.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-787\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/image-292.png 388w, https:\/\/sgtaste.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/image-292-300x244.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 388px) 100vw, 388px\" \/><figcaption><strong>SFA<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>5 During Phase 2, sale and consumption of alcohol in all F&amp;B establishments will be prohibited after 10.30pm daily. <br><br>This includes consumption at any outdoor refreshment area and\/or tables\/chairs owned or managed by such establishment. <br><br>Each group of customers must also be limited to 5 or fewer persons, with at least one metre spacing between groups. Gatherings or groups involving more than 5 persons in total are not allowed, and there should be no intermingling between groups. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6 Under the COVID-19 (Temporary Measures) Act 2020, first-time offenders will face a fine of up to S$10,000, imprisonment of up to six months, or both.
