Those who loves to regularly play Pok\u00e9mon GO<\/em> will surely know this place at Blk 401 Hougang Avenue 10<\/strong><\/em> – KPT Kopitiam<\/strong><\/em>, which is nearby one of the favourite hotspots for all Pok\u00e9mon trainers!

But do you know this place is also famous for its Fish Soup too?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Previously, this stall within the coffeeshop is known as “Wang Wang Fish Soup<\/em>“, but however the signboard is somehow removed.. maybe because it had changed operator quietly?

However, even though the signboard is no longer around, it still sells the same familiar and delicious fish soup and other delights too!

For identity purpose, we shall call it – Blk 401 Hougang Avenue 10 (KPT Kopitiam) Sliced Fish Soup!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The stall uses the freshest ingredients, especially their sliced Batang<\/em> (or Grouper) <\/em>fish, cooked in their specially-prepared flavourful broth, accompanied by diced tomatoes, tofu and a generous portion of Sichuan vegetable (also known as “Zha Cai” is a type of pickled mustard plant stem)<\/em>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don’t forget to complete your meal by adding lots of fried crispy onions and the most important ingredient of all – plenty of Spicy-Hot<\/em> CHILLI PADI<\/em>~

We ordered the ever-popular original Sliced Fish Soup<\/em> (with a big bowl of steamed rice<\/em>) at S$4.80 only~

It’s jam-packed with a generous spread of ingredients.. and don’t be fooled by the ordinary look of it, this Sliced Fish Soup<\/em> is really tasty and the sliced fish is freshly smooth and tender!

The Sichuan vegetable<\/em> really adds unique flavor and compliments the soup really well.. Not only that, you can also request to add milk into your soup for a fuller taste too!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
